For three months the Friends of Planet Foundation was leading the execution of an operation in the neighbor of the old slaughterhouse District Health Department. After several meetings with different entities to achieve the commitment of the Mayor Minor Puente Aranda, who assumed leadership, while recognizing our management and initiative. On Thursday the 5th of November at the early morning hours, it began a Force, we had the participation of the Mayor Minor Puente Aranda, South Hospital, Department of Mobility, Traffic Police, Environmental Police, surveillance and Association for the Defense of Animals. It was found the horse meat trade in unsanitary conditions and trade in horses in poor conditions, because as usual by the teamsters, after earning a living with the horse, often leading them to physical exhaustion and work with lousy hardware, lameness, wounds, lacerations, emaciation and malnutrition, at the time the animal has no strength to pull the wagon is saccharified by themselves or taken to a place like the slaughterhouse to be used for human consumption, without into account the proper handling of meat and foremost a humane killing.

Finally, achieving the seizure of 2 animals in deplorable condition and horse meat in unsanitary conditions, despite the resistance of the large number of highway at the scene put at risk the integrity of the officials present, we highlight here work to protect members of the police.
