Abandoned Animals returned to the circus
Wednesday, 09 June 2010 12:00
The twelve tigers, three lions, two bears and a monkey that had been abandoned on Tuesday in a town of Cordova returned to its owners. But this is not a happy ending: the masters of the circus "Las Vegas" will be reported in care of the beasts until someone like carrying. For them, it is a decision. The show must go on, with clowns and jugglers, but now without animals.
Meanwhile, Bell Ville calmly regained lost. Neighbors overcame the shock of pets and after taking pictures and bring food to the beasts, fired in his game to another town where they met with the rest of the company.
From now on, the tent and the animals will be together again in the town of Hernando, while the owners of the circus "Las Vegas", which minimize the hypothesis that a fight decided by the abandonment, hope that one zoo receives their pets. "They're like our family and do not want to suffer," said Gina Gyovanovich, daughter of the founder of the circus, Elsa Palmucci.
Tomorrow, the circus will make his first role in Hernando and rise again camp on Monday, this time to settle in the city of Cordoba and do "winter."
In Hernando, and in Cordoba, animals will not be in the game. "After the trouble that erupted in Bell Ville, we have decided to donate them to a serious institution," he said Fabian Morales, one of the owners.
Is that the Humane Society of Bell Ville was the one who gave the warning and the scandal came to shooting: "As the circus dissolved the partnership, the owners left them in Bell Ville and went to Justiniano Posse, had denounced the Mary conservationist leader Pita. That's how neighbors ran to see animals caged and abandoned.
Solidarity with tigers, lions and bears mixed with curiosity. It is common in Cordova town to talk about the weather or field or crop, but not of Asian and African animals that someone decided to leave.
Natural Resources Manager of Cordoba, Oscar de Allende, said: "The Córdoba Zoo is making the adoption process, but other institutions, as in America, a place in Buenos Aires, who are interested in adopting the tigers and lions" .
Daniel Molina, one of the owners, he added: "It hurts to get rid of the animals. But every time we come to a place we do animal welfare questions. "
Nardi Carolina is a model 19 years of Justiniano Posse. Yesterday, when the trailers reached the beasts came to see them. And even Clarín asked him to take a picture with the tigers.
At the junction of routes 158 and 6, 190 kilometers from Cordoba, a salesman waiting for the passage of the beasts: "On TV they said they would spend the lions, so I'm waiting to see them," he said.
No one is as famous as these animals these days in this province.
Alexander Morales, 15, is a trapeze artist. He is making his debut as a biker of the Globe of Death: "I tell the truth: I think the circus without animals is not going to be equal", he lamented, and while some raised the tent again, a van with loudspeakers Hernando walked the streets announcing the arrival of "The Vegaaaaaas great circus."
