The Federal Environmental Protection (Profepa) said 64 wild animals in the hatchery Tlalixtac, San Miguel, Oaxaca, mostly illegally removed from their natural habitat. In a statement stressed that they were in a den of Environmental Management Unit (AMU) that even had the record of the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources. 

Profepa said the owner of the farm located in the Barrio de San Miguel in Tlalixtac de Cabrera, Oaxaca, did not have the permission of the SEMARNAT to have other animals, nor with the Management Plan document authorized. He said he did not have annual reports that must submit to the federal agency, nor the rate of use is authorized, nor the documents certifying the legal origin of the copies he had, from what follows that he also conducted the extractive use. He explained that, of the 64 animals insured, 46 were white-tailed deer, a brocket and 17 peacocks, action that was performed on the basis of the Wildlife Act, the General Law of Ecological Equilibrium and Environmental Protection, as well as Internal Regulation of the SEMARNAT.
